Who We Are

Jenifer McKenna

Jenifer McKenna is Senior Advisor at Reproductive Health and Freedom Watch.

Jenifer brings over thirty years experience advocating for reproductive and gender equity to her role at RHFW, and deep expertise in the unregulated pregnancy clinic industry. She is co-founder and former Managing Director of California Women’s Law Center, where she advanced policy advocacy on reproductive rights, gender-based violence, and gender discrimination. From 2012-2022, Jenifer coordinated The Alliance: State Advocates for Women’s Rights & Gender Equality, a first-time collaboration of state-based gender law and policy centers, developing cross-state advocacy and authoring multiple publications promoting state strategies to strengthen reproductive and gender justice. From 2018-2021, Jenifer directed the Alliance crisis pregnancy center (CPC) project, led the first multi-state CPC investigation, and co-authored the national report: Designed to Deceive: A Study of the Crisis Pregnancy Center Industry in Nine States. She is a nationally recognized expert on the CPC industry, and a contributing reporter on unregulated pregnancy clinic issues for Ms. Magazine.

Debra Rosen

Debra Rosen is the Executive Director of Reproductive Health and Freedom Watch.

Debra is a seasoned strategist and changemaker with over 20 years of experience driving impactful progress in movements facing significant challenges. Prior to founding Reproductive Health and Freedom Watch in 2022, she led the international tobacco industry accountability strategy at the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK), where she successfully removed tobacco companies from key international alliances, including the UN Global Compact and the International Labor Organization. Under her leadership, CTFK also exposed covert influencer marketing that resulted in social media platform policy reforms and documented youth-targeted marketing, leading to the adoption of tobacco control laws in 14 countries.

Debra’s leadership extends to a variety of social justice causes. She was the Managing Director for Moms Demand Action for Gun Safety and the inaugural Director of the Walk Free Movement to End Global Slavery. Earlier in her career, she worked as a consultant for large-scale grassroots advocacy organizations and held the position of Senior Vice President at M+R Strategic Services. Her consulting portfolio includes high-profile organizations such as AARP, Human Rights Campaign, NARAL, Planned Parenthood, Polaris Project, and SPARC.
